Hey Dreiht

The He Dreiht offshore wind farm is being developed approximately 85 km northwest of the island of Borkum in the German North Sea. With a planned total capacity of 960 MW, it ranks among Europe’s largest offshore wind projects. The 64 wind turbines, type Vestas V236-15.0 MW, will be installed on monopile foundations, each about 70 m long and weighing 1,350 tons. Commissioning is scheduled for late 2025.

JBO was responsible for the concept and basic design of the monopile foundations, as well as detailed load calculations. For the follow-up project, He Dreiht Concept, JBO carried out the concept load calculations. The services included comprehensive structural and load analyses.
