The Baltic Power offshore wind farm is located about 23 km off the Polish Baltic Sea coast near Choczewo and Łeba. The project includes 76 wind turbines of the type Vestas V236-15.0 MW, with a total capacity of 1,140 MW. The foundations are monopile structures installed in water depths ranging from 7 to 35 m. A unique feature of Baltic Power is that the monopile foundations come in two different diameters—8.6 m and 9.1 m—optimized for manufacturing efficiency.
JBO was responsible for the complete design of the monopile foundations, transition pieces, and, where relevant, towers. The scope of planning covered both primary and secondary steel components such as boat landings, platforms, access ways, and lifting equipment. Additionally, a comprehensive Project Execution Plan was developed and maintained.
