NordseeOne

The Nordsee One offshore wind farm is located about 40 km north of Juist Island in the German North Sea, covering an area of 41.3 km² with water depths ranging from 25 to 29 meters. Monopile foundations were used for its establishment. This wind farm consists of 54 Senvion 6.2M126 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.15 MW, leading to a total installed capacity of 332 MW.

JBO handled the concept, basic, and detailed design for the substructure (monopile & transition piece). This included dimensioning primary and secondary steel components, designing the access and rest platforms, preparing material and coating specifications, analyzing ice and collision loads, and reassessing pile fatigue after installation.
