This Wednesday, JBO | Jörss-Blunck-Ordemann GmbH was pleased to attend the C1 Connections Demonstration Day in Amsterdam – an excellently organized event focused on bolted-free flange solutions for offshore wind foundations.
Representing JBO on site:
🔹 Michael Schwedler – Head of Offshore Structural Design
🔹 Filip Wegener – Lead Flange and FE Automation Expert
🔹 Frank Ostermann – Head of Structural Dynamics, who also contributed with a presentation on a 22 MW turbine support structure study. His talk addressed the structural dynamic challenges of large rotor diameters and the implications for next-generation foundation design.
A big thank you to Jasper Winkes and the entire C1 Connections team for the invitation, the perfect organization, and the valuable technical discussions with industry experts across the supply chain.
We’re taking away valuable insights and are looking forward to future C1-based projects – and to supporting the next generation of offshore wind technology.
