JBO Engineering Group GmbH is a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience in structural design, civil engineering, and structural integrity assessments for complex buildings and engineering structures. For over 15 years, we have also been successfully active in the offshore wind sector, with a focus on structural design, loads, research, and technical inspections.
Your Responsibilities
- Creating 3D models using modern 3D design software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Allplan)
- Creating bills of materials (BOMs), quantity surveys, as well as technical descriptions and specifications.
- Drafting of general layout, detailed, structural steel, formwork, and reinforcement plans for challenging onshore and offshore civil and structural engineering projects.
- Assisting our structural engineers with the technical review of reinforcement drawings.
- Creating assembly and detailed drawings.
- Collaborating on architectural plans in close coordination with our engineering department.
- Creating technical documentation.
What you should bring with you
- Completed vocational training as a drafter or technician, or a degree in civil engineering (preferably with a specialization in structural and civil engineering).
- Recent graduates and entry-level professionals are also very welcome.
- Excellent CAD skills
- You are familiar with the basic principles of reinforcement detailing and anchorage lengths.
- A passion for teamwork and the use of modern software.
