On 4 November, our colleague Bruno Ceppas attended the Bladed User Conference hosted by DNV in Hamburg. Bladed is the software we use at JBO for wind turbine load calculations. DNV is not only the provider of this software but also a key partner in many of our projects, serving as a certification body and contributing to the development of essential wind turbine standards. Attending the event strengthened our collaboration with DNV and gave our Loads Team early insights into the upcoming features of the next Bladed version. This helps us assess how these developments will influence our toolchain and engineering workflows. DNV is currently developing new offshore capabilities for Bladed 5, and JBO was invited as one of the Foundation Designers to share our experience and ideas. We are proud to contribute to the continued evolution of Bladed and to drive engineering excellence in offshore wind. 💡 Let’s keep pushing innovation forward, together with TeamJBO.
