By updating design assumptions using as-built information, uncertainties can be reduced and wind farms can be operated more efficiently. Our work focuses on topics such as lifetime extension, preventive maintenance strategies, and optimized operational concepts.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your exciting, varied tasks<\/h2>\n\n<p>Our offshore wind department in Hannover is seeking support for the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contributing to research and industry projects in the field of lifetime<br\/>extension and structural integrity management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing databases and automation solutions using Python and SQL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing load simulations of offshore structures using Bladed  or in-house software<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing and presenting results (figures, reports, presentations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting technical research on specific engineering topics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you should bring with you<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enrolled student (m\/f\/d) in a relevant field such as mechanical or civil<br\/>engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, physics, or comparable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Interest in load simulations \/ structural dynamics and data management  in the offshore wind sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced programming skills (ideally Python) and\/or strong experience with load simulations of offshore structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong willingness to learn and motivation to familiarize yourself with new topics and software tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent, careful, and reliable working style, combined with good  teamwork skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We offer<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fair compensation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on involvement in exciting research and industry projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deep insight into reassessment and lifetime extension<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> A supportive and open-minded team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Flexible working hours compatible with your studies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and cover letter in either German or English to: <a href=\"mailto:bewerbung@j-b-o.de\">bewerbung@j-b-o.de<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>Please include the job ID<strong> JBO-OLD-001<\/strong> in the subject line of your application.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To support our Loads Department in the field of reassessment and lifetime extension of offshore structures, we are looking for a motivated working student (m\/f\/d) to join our team as soon as possible.
